Starting this morning without breakfast – uuh mistake to count on having sufficient reserves. Passing the traffic crowdy industrial zones around Nice I ran out of the comfortable area. Crazy, the today’s calm down intention went reverse. But I’m now beyond the 1000 meter altitude and expect more moderate temperatures. By the way: nice camping site with a lot of hikers and randoneur cyclists, makes a good atmosphere.
Route: Start camping in the vineyards Saint-Jeannet – Saint-Martin-du-Var – following river Le Var until M 2205 – following La Tinee – Pont de Clans, finally breakfast – Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinee – Isola – Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée camping

wir steigen jetzt in Deine Radtour ein und werden Dich „verfolgen“. Toll, wie weit Du schon gekommen bist und das bei diesen Temperaturen..!! Sie bleiben Dir (und uns) leider noch ein bisschen erhalten. Aber im Gegensatz zu Dir haben wir noch nicht die 80% Hitzeverträglichkeit erreicht….sind also noch nicht so abgehärtet.
